Mit dem neuen ZyXEL MiniGBIC-LHX lassen sich Gigabit-Verbindungen zwischen Switches, DSLAMs oder Interface-Konvertern über eine Distanz von bis zu 40 km realisieren. Vor allem bei Elektrizitätswerken, Eisenbahnen und Telecomanbietern findet man Netze mit grossen Distanzen zwischen den Netzelementen. Mit den neuen MiniGBICs dringt ZyXEL weiter in diese Profibereiche vor.
